This flat was my home for 7 very happy years until I upped sticks to the suburbs. It is on the first floor of a handsome Georgian listed terrace, in a very attractive road of similar properties. It has high ceilings and sash windows and good proportions. The living room is a double reception room with an area for sitting and an area for dining, and a wall of cupboards. The kitchen has a washing machine, condensing dryer, gas oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer, and space for plenty of cookware. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The two bedrooms are both doubles - one is large, with a wall of built in storage. The other is smaller (11 x 8) but still a double, and the flat has been happily used by sharers including when I lived there myself. There is access to a communal roof terrace, and to a large communal garden that runs almost the length of the whole road.

The flat has the necessary furniture but there is still space for any special items of your own. There is loads of storage.

The area is fantastic - 5 mins to Oval tube which will have you in Bank or Charing Cross within another 10 mins. Vauxhall tube is also not far, and neither is Kennington. There are local buses that go towards the city, Victoria, or down to Brixton and beyond. In the immediate locality of the flat are the amenities of Brixton Road, a lovely gastropub at the end of the road, and the Oval for cricket fans. Kennington Park, with tennis courts, is 2 min away. Brixton, with its brilliant nightlife, is a short bus ride, and so is Camberwell. Kennington, which has restaurants and pubs, is nearby, as is the Nine Elms development, And the whole of central London is within an easy cab home after a night out.

I manage the flat myself and don't let out any other properties; I am a highly responsive landlady if my tenants ever need anything, but I price the flat at what I think is a very reasonable level with a view to attracting tenants who are reasonably self-sufficient.
